Dr. Gina Kelly
Dr. Kelly grew up in Queens, New York. Upon successful completion of the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program at Ross University in 2016, she completed a one year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Atlantic Veterinary College in PEI. Following her internship, she worked for five years at a progressive small animal hospital in Berkeley, California.
Gina relocated to St. John’s in 2013 where she continued to work in small animal general veterinary practice. In January 2006, VSNCL started offering emergency and critical care services provided exclusively by Dr. Kelly. As the case load increased, VSCNL hired more emergency service veterinarians; a team which Dr. Kelly still leads today. Dr. Kelly puts her heart in her work; treating each patient as her own. She believes quality veterinary care includes having compassion, patience, and dignity for both the patient and their owner.
When not working, Gina spends time with her family enjoying outdoor activities such as swimming, hiking, camping, and cross country skiing.
