About Dr. Laura Rogers
Dr. Laura Rogers was born and raised on the west coast of Newfoundland. She started her university education in Nova Scotia, moving to PEI to complete the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 1996 from the Atlantic Veterinary College. After 3 years in general companion animal practice, Laura went on to complete a residency in Anatomic Pathology. She continued working in the field of Anatomic Pathology for the next 17 years – both in Alberta for private diagnostic lab and then back to Newfoundland with the provincial government. She joined the VSCNL team in February 2020 and is enjoying being in private practice once again delivering emergency care to the animals of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Laura is the proud owner of 3 cats – who combined, have 11 legs in total (a recent beloved ‘tripawed’ addition :). She also enjoys gardening and outdoor activities.
